This year has been a powerful one for Wander and Rest Life — shaped by community, collaboration, and a shared belief that gentler spaces matter.

Over the past year, we’ve had the joy of showing up in the community in meaningful ways. From participating in canal-side festivals to hosting inclusive fancy dress parties designed for both neurotypical and neurodivergent children, every event was created with care, accessibility, and connection at its heart.

Our goal has always been simple: to create spaces where families feel welcome, where children can be themselves, and where no one feels the need to explain or justify their needs. Watching families connect, children play freely, and parents breathe a little easier reminded us why this work matters.

We’ve met incredible people along the way — families, volunteers, supporters, and community members who believe in inclusive, compassionate approaches to wellbeing. Wander and Rest Life continues to grow because of the people who show up, share ideas, and help shape what we’re building together.

One of the most meaningful moments of the year was being recognised by Queen’s Park Community with a Rising Star Certificate. This recognition reflects the collective effort behind Wander and Rest Life and the impact of community-led, heart-centred work.

As we look ahead, we remain committed to creating accessible, inclusive spaces that centre rest, understanding, and connection. Thank you to everyone who has been part of this journey — this work exists because of you.

Together, we continue to wander, rest, and grow
